Urbanyx Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Z.axis ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Urbanyx geospatial mapping platform. We are deeply committed to protecting the privacy of our users, particularly regarding the handling of geographic and spatial data vectors. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, process, and secure your information.

1. Information We Collect & Process

We limit data collection strictly to what is required to execute spatial computing tasks and manage user accounts securely.

2. The Optional "Locate Me" Feature

The Urbanyx map canvas includes a voluntary "Locate Me" button to help orient your workspace. When clicked, the platform detects your approximate location using your IP address to adjust the viewport camera.

3. Payment Processing via Paddle Disclaimer

Z.axis does not collect, transmit, or store financial billing data. All monetary transactions are managed externally by our partner, Paddle, acting as our Merchant of Record. When upgrading your account, your credit card details or bank info are submitted directly to Paddle. Z.axis receives only an automated verification token and subscription status confirmation (e.g., "Active - Pro Tier") from Paddle to adjust your Analysis Token balance. Your financial data is governed exclusively by Paddle's privacy policies.

4. Third-Party Mapping Infrastructure (Mapbox)

Urbanyx utilizes infrastructure provided by Mapbox to render base maps and geographic vector tiles. When your browser requests map tiles, technical metadata (such as your IP address and standard web request headers) is processed by Mapbox to deliver the visual map interface efficiently. Mapbox processes this data in strict compliance with its own privacy and security protocols. Z.axis does not share your private uploaded spatial data layers with Mapbox or any other third party.

5. Spatial Data Security & Isolation

Any private geospatial data you upload to Urbanyx is logically isolated within your specific account container. Z.axis personnel cannot view, access, or manipulate your private spatial layers unless you explicitly request technical support and grant written permission to inspect your account environment.

6. Data Deletion Rights & Accounts

You maintain complete control over your uploaded geospatial data and account profile.
